The Inspiration
Inspired by my need for (and lack of) inner stillness in a very busy and overwhelming season. I set out to create a collection on a peace within that is unshakable regardless of circumstances.
This painting in particular is reminiscent of early morning solo canoe rides I took camping while everyone was still sleeping in their tents. It is about treating every moment as if it’s the only one you have. Like those special times out in nature when it feels like you and God are the only people alive.
