The Inspiration
Inspired by my need for (and lack of) inner stillness in a very busy and overwhelming season. I set out to create a collection on a peace within that is unshakable regardless of circumstances.
This painting is about not letting anxiety steal your true shimmery self! Rivers are searching for the sea. they don’t know where they are going next. They have a goal and an ambition, but on the journey they remain peaceful. Sometimes rushing sometimes still, but always carefree because they trust they will find it one day. In the same way, my pray for you is that “the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way.” 2 Thessalonians 3:16

hiding my sanity
it forgets
the tree top shimmers
reflection glimmers
the peaceful carefree
